I was contacted by a recruiter and convinced to apply. I was told there were multiple positions I should consider.
I was then passed to another recruiter and scheduled for five or six more interviews, including hiring manager, cultural fit, system design, programming, and PR review.
It was a lot of hours, but the interviews seemed to go quite well, and the interviewers said so as well. Suddenly, the last interview was cancelled.
The recruiter said I did great but stopped all contact. The original recruiter said she had great feedback from the team, but all the other positions were no longer open for consideration. I was confused, so I reached out for any feedback but received no further responses.
It is very possible I failed that last interview in some way, but on review, I have no idea how. If that is the case, feedback would have been appreciated; however, none was given.
Honestly, it was a frustrating experience being told how well it was going, only to have them suddenly ghost me.
