I applied in January 2021. I received a follow-up from a recruiter 5 days after submitting my application.

The first round was a screening call with the recruiter. The recruiter missed the scheduled screening call. After missing the screening call, the recruiter reached back out and asked for my availability later that day.

We had the screening call, which I thought went well. The recruiter advanced my candidacy, and a call with the hiring manager was to be scheduled. After that, I heard nothing back from HashiCorp.

I followed up with the recruiter after a week, but still never heard anything back. I was ghosted.

Lesson learned: never apply for positions at HashiCorp ever again.
