• Recruiter round: Discussion of my resume and an overview of the role.
• Hiring manager round: More details about my background, the team, and the position.
• Karat interview: My experience was positive (though I’ve seen some negative reviews, so I may have been fortunate with the interviewer).
• On-site: Covered MLOps knowledge, system design, behavioral questions, and another hiring manager discussion.

The technical questions focused on designing and monitoring systems that the team is actively working on. I found this very practical and a fair way to assess skills.

Coding: Work with a text file (download, read, and print data).

AWS / MLOps: What AWS products you would use to build a recommender system.

Behavioral: How you would handle a teammate who doesn’t collaborate well.

System design: Designing and monitoring a system similar to Ebb.
