The interviewer reached out to me, expressing interest in me being a good fit for the role. The first interview was a standard technical LeetCode interview.
The way the interviewer described it sounded like it would be a collaborative, back-and-forth interview style. It was not that at all, as the interviewer seemed very uninterested and didn't provide any feedback whatsoever during the interview.
My code passed all the test cases, and I asked clarifying questions, thought of edge cases, etc. At the end of the interview, I got to ask a few questions, and that was it.
I waited four days for them to respond (the recruiter never provided updates until I reached out), and then they sent me an email saying I wasn't being considered for the role.
All in all, the people were nice, but their lack of communication from both the recruiter and interviewer seemed very unprofessional to me.
