I was interviewed at HPE recently for a technical architect role.
The first round was a telephonic interview with questions related to Java, Web Services, etc.
After the first round, I was asked what CTC I would settle for if I cleared the next F2F round.
It was truly unprofessional to ask such a question when I had already mentioned my expected CTC to the HR before the interview process started.
Post that, I never got any call or any reply to my mails.
