The engineers I worked with were some great people. Not having to work on HP's terrible storage products because of client demands. A few very good managers.
Low salary, lack of progression, lack of morale.
Too many spineless, two-faced, backstabbing managers and far too much offshoring and workforce reduction.
Confidential diagonal slices. Get rid of the crap managers. Try actually growing the business instead of just shrinking the workforce to drive profits.
First interview, I was interviewed by the hiring manager and the HR manager. Second interview, I was interviewed by two people. Both were engineers and had worked there for a while.
The process was: 1. The technical MCQ round. Four choices were given, i.e., C, C++, JAVA, or Software Testing. You had to select one before starting the test. 2. Technical Round. 3. Managerial Round. 4. HR
Nice and easy. A recruiter reached out to me at a job fair. We chatted, and then I interviewed directly with the team who would be hiring me in a panel-style format, as well as individually with each of the team members.
