A great place with very good work-life balance. It isn't cut-throat like some other companies. But at the same time, it provides ample opportunities for those who want to grow. The culture is genuinely inclusive. Of all the companies I have worked at, this is the one with the most number of 20+ year company veterans.
With the lack of push, you can become complacent if you are not self-motivated. Also, the compensation is not as great.
Lots of mergers and acquisitions cause confusion in the market with competing products. We should think more about integration.
Lots of technical questions: data structures, OOP concepts, operating systems, low-level system programming, C, and C++. Also included a hands-on programming exercise in the language in question. First, a manager would call, asking general questions
Just a 1-hour conversation with the manager, nothing less and nothing more. It was not really a full interview; it was more like having a chat with the engineer in charge while he explained the details of the position.
Two phone calls. One with the recruiter and one with the hiring managers. One on-site interview, non-technical. All the interviews were pretty simple, probably because they hire from my school often. Received an offer one day after the in-person
