Pros
  • Big company
  • Big projects
  • Big teams, potentially allowing you to learn a lot from seniors
  • Good benefits
  • Flexible work hours
  • Nice equipment, including a laptop and very good monitors
  • Possibility of working from home
  • Depending on the manager, it's easy to get days off work
Cons
  • Defective hiring process. HR doesn't really do its job, managers having to seek potential employees.
  • It takes a lot of time to get a paper for the bank or for medical reasons since the main HR office is in Bucharest.
  • No ramp-up process.
  • No proper training.
  • In some teams, although you have seniors who can help you technically, they give you a bad attitude.
  • There are no real possibilities for advancement in your career.
  • Hard to understand projects (because of their size and multiple environments).
  • The company is changing its name many times (and juridical entity), meaning that it is hard to get a credit at the bank without some specific papers that take some time to get.
Advice to Management

Offer more training when asked for. Offer more support for new hires.
