Great people to work with. Some really sharp and talented engineers.
Good work/life balance. Great pay (at least for me).
Upper management is clueless. They have hundreds of engineers idle because they couldn't figure out a direction for our products. Too many layers of management. A lot of good old boys in management do nothing and try to look busy.
Think more than three months in the future. Actually look your engineers in the eye when you walk down the hall. We can't have confidence in you if you are in your ivory tower.
Two technical rounds. The first round involved coding in the C programming language, and the second round, on the same day, covered OS and data structure concepts. After that, I received an email stating that I was not opted for further rounds.
I have 5 years of experience in the C++ domain. They conducted a total of 3 rounds of interviews: one telephonic call, one technical F2F, and one manager round. The interview was very nice.
I had a phone screen and an in-person interview. I interviewed with multiple departments within HPE. I had two separate in-person interviews. Both interviews took the entire day, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
