A good start for freshers, since you have a lot of opportunity for learning new technologies.
Since I'm working on a contract basis, we are not allowed to take new technology training provided by HPE for their employees every three months. We are also not invited to any of their team lunches or outings. Literally, they treat us like beggars.
I think contract-based employees should be treated the same because we are working for the same project and on the same platform.
First round was an aptitude test (this was the most difficult round I felt). The second was a technical HR round (fairly easy). Finally, there was an HR round (concentrated on confidence level and way of approach towards the problem).
I had three rounds of interview at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for the Software Engineer position. 1. The first two rounds were technical with senior engineers. 2. The last round was with the manager.
1. Online assessment 2. Technical interview: a) Basics b) OS-related questions HR interview as usual, the HR round: * Introduce yourself * Strength and weakness * Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
