I applied for the role with my CV and CTC details. I was shortlisted and called for the interview on May 21, 2016, at HSBC GLT Pune. I cleared a written test and LOB interviews. Post which, I was asked to submit all documents and fill in all onboarding forms. I received an HR call and draft offer letter with compensation details on June 2, 2016, and was told the offer letter would be mailed to me in a few days. I asked the HR whether it was OK if I put down my papers in my current company, as I have to plan my notice period. The HR told me yes, you can, as you can consider your candidature finalized. I hence resigned from my current company, and the resignation was accepted. A few days passed, and I did not receive the offer letter, and HRs stopped replying to my emails. After waiting for a week, I escalated to the HSBC senior executive team to know the status and was told that my offer was dropped and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. I would never recommend the company to anyone, as I have been rendered jobless by the malpractices of HSBC HRs.
The interview was around the work areas.
