Process
Coding test that needs to be done within 2 hours. Although the cut-off time is 3 hours, they suggest you wrap it up within 2 hours. It's slightly challenging but sets an expectation for the kind of work you'll be doing on a daily basis.
Selected for on-site interviews lasting 4.5 hours:
- 3 coding interviews (focusing on DS/JS/HTML/CSS)
- 1 behavioral round with the Director of Engineering
I did pretty well on the DS/JS parts but failed in the HTML/CSS part, which indeed resulted in rejection.
Overall, I really liked the way things went at HubSpot and would love to give it another shot soon if I find any relevant positions.
