Pros: WLB You feel very, very valued from day one. Career growth is encouraged, and managers/leads actually take interest. HubSpot truly practices what they preach. Best culture. People are super nice and encourage you to be vulnerable and open.

Cons: Salary could be more competitive, although it's not bad compared to the workload. Product understanding can be a bigger learning curve if you're not used to B2B products.

Pros: As long as things are running well, this is a great company to work for. It appears they care for their employees. But the culture might not be consistent in all the teams. Some teams work closely and collaborate, whereas some make you feel more isolated. The expectation in some teams is that you solve problems independently.

Cons: Someone might be extremely skilled and knowledgeable and might be your mentor; as a result, their inexperience doesn't help in effective knowledge transfer. Similarly, with managers, they could be former techies and might have inexperience managing team members or providing effective feedback. While diversity and inclusion make great numbers on company slides, I am not too sure if all the teams feel it.

Pros: Respectful and safe environment. Good remuneration package.

Cons: Though it was never mentioned in the recruitment process nor in my contract, I was expected to spend a third of my life tethered to my phone, ready to, for example, wake up at 3 am to look at an unhappy server until any relevant problem was fixed. And an additional third of my life as the secondary on-call person, in case the other person missed an alarm. I couldn't completely relax for a week at a time when on call – horrible.
