Good remuneration package.
Though it was never mentioned in the recruitment process nor in my contract, I was expected to spend a third of my life tethered to my phone, ready to, for example, wake up at 3 am to look at an unhappy server until any relevant problem was fixed. And an additional third of my life as the secondary on-call person, in case the other person missed an alarm.
I couldn't completely relax for a week at a time when on call – horrible.
