Software Engineer Co-Op Interview Experience - Cambridge, Massachusetts

Process

It is very similar to that mentioned in the other reviews.

I applied for Spring Coop during the first week of August and received the first round link on August 20.

The first round was an online exam where I had to retrieve data from an API, process it, and post it back to an API.

Next, a phone call with the recruiter followed, which was behavioral. She asked me generic questions such as what I worked on, what I am interested in, if I knew about the HubSpot principles, and if I had worked on open-source development, etc.

I was informed that the final rounds would be conducted in the last week of October.

I received an email on October 15 stating that I was moving forward to the final interview.

My 2-hour virtual interview took place on October 22. The first interview was on system design, and the second was on data structures and algorithms.

The system design interview was extremely interesting and felt more like a discussion than an interview.

Finally, I received the offer letter after two weeks!

Overall, the interview process was very smooth, although it took a very long time. My recruiter, Bridget, was very responsive and helpful at every step, which made the process even easier.
