I applied online directly via a web form after discovering HubSpot at a hackathon.
The next day, I was sent an online coding challenge. There were two questions in the coding challenge. They weren't especially difficult, and I didn't come very close to breaking the time limit. The questions seemed like a great filter for lower-level candidates.
Next, I was brought in for an in-person interview. After a quick tour, I sat down with one employee, who asked some light, conversational interview questions. Then, he asked me to walk through some code in my GitHub. Finally, I was extended an offer for the next co-op term.
The process was smooth and didn't waste anyone's time.
