Pros: Great job with lots of benefits and a chance to work with up-to-date and interesting technology.

Cons: Can't think of any downsides.

Pros: Talented and friendly colleagues. Management are very open to hearing your concerns and genuinely try to improve things. The whole business is very transparent; anything you want to know about how the business works is available to you. A good place for talented grads.

Cons: Career progress can be slow; it feels like you get stuck at a level. No matter how much they dress it up, you're building marketing automation software, and that can be a bit unrewarding. It's hard to have an impact on a 300+ person engineering org as an engineer. Experience outside of HubSpot doesn't count once you get in the door, and that can make the environment a bit frustrating for experienced engineers.

Pros: The people you work with are incredibly talented, fun to be around, and humble. There are a lot of perks to working at HubSpot, but at the end of the day, it's a great place to work because of the great people who work there.

Cons: You work with some of the best people in their industry. This means that the expectations are set extremely high, which can be disheartening if you're just starting out your career, like I have.
