Tons of autonomy. If you are smart and driven, you can both make an impact and grow a ton as an engineer. There are teams working across a wide spectrum of initiatives and opportunities to move around. The focus is on results, which is something you have a lot of control over.
There are at times some growing pains, as HubSpot is constantly growing quickly and needing to adapt. We don't always get it right, but management cares a lot and is always looking to improve.
Keep hammering on transparency.
After the initial conversation with the recruiter, I got an online code assessment invitation. It was a realistic question asking how to fetch data from the server, parse and transform the data to the desired output, and send it back to the server. T
Great interviews and overall a pretty standard process. OA -> LC/Systems Design -> Tech Deep Dive Provided feedback even though I didn't get an offer, so I would recommend their process regardless.
I feel I came very close to an offer if I had performed a bit better on the system design interview. I was still not displeased because of how respectful everyone was. I would definitely interview with HubSpot again. Interview Stages: 1. Recruiter
