I proceeded to the final interview round. However, the interviewers were very unprofessional at all rounds of interviews.
They had little knowledge of the technical questions they were asking and were unable to adapt questions based on discussion with the interviewee. Even as I provided correct responses, they kept prompting me until I guessed the one on their answer key.
Their C++ questions were woefully out of date. When I provided an answer based on C++20 features, they were confused and clearly not aware of modern features.
Many of the interviewers were on different teams than the ones I was interested in, had been working at HRT less than six months, and were less than a year out of college.
They really need to get more senior engineers involved in the hiring process.
