Pros: IBM issues laptops to all of its employees, and depending on your manager, this makes working remotely fairly easy. When it comes to HR-related tasks, IBM seems to trust its employees and managers, as vacation/sick time is not centrally tracked.

Cons: IBM is an extremely large company and as such sometimes suffers from its size. Because of its large size, the company has implemented many processes/requirements that cause inefficiencies in day-to-day work. Compensation and pay are awarded based on a pool system that is sub-divided as you move down the organization, which results in limited flexibility for managers to reward top-performing employees. Additionally, as the company is spread across the globe, you may be working with people who you've never met face-to-face for years.

Pros: - Learning Opportunities - Work/Life balance - Diversity/Inclusion

Cons: - Not enough opportunities to apply new skills due to a low rate of winning new work. - Leadership and hierarchical organization decision-making. - Compensation.

Pros: A lot of smart people and a lot of support from colleagues. Great benefits. Flexible hours and locations, as long as you can deliver your work on time.

Cons: Your career growth highly depends on your manager. Your SAM (Service Area Manager) plays a huge role in your promotions. Sometimes it's unreasonable and totally unfair. I saw people who did not do much work, just because they worked in the same project as their SAM, get promoted rapidly. A lot of good and smart people have left the company for that reason.
