Work Life at IBM
Data Engineer • Current Employee
Calcutta, West Bengal, India
October 3, 2021
Pros: IBM's work environment is good. With respect to other Indian IT services companies, the work culture is better. I hope it remains that way in the future.
Work culture mainly depends on the PM/PoM. If they are micromanaging, then it becomes difficult to work.
Cons: The only thing is, existing employees are not getting paid well in India, even if they are high-performing. Inflation in India is high, and other IT companies are paying much more. In fact, when IBM is hiring from outside, it is paying much more, even at a junior level, than existing high-performing employees.
