Process
I interviewed in December 2020. The first round was an online test, which I cleared. I was then called by HR the very next day for the technical round. After clearing the technical round, HR called me on very short notice for the managerial round. It went well, and the manager said he would look for a better fit for me.
The HR kept dodging a response for nearly a month, repeatedly stating she didn't have any updates. They didn't provide me with any formal written reply. I was the one following up.
One day, I called again, and the HR said, "We can't find a suitable position for you, and it has nothing to do with your technical skills."
I found this behavior totally unprofessional. A clear yes or no would have sufficed. This is a poor tendency to keep people on hold and not provide written explanations.
