Pros: Relaxed but rewarding work, plus work from home.

Cons: Slightly unorganized management and old technologies.

Pros: Good colleagues, many to learn.

Cons: The management overhead is too big.

Pros: They pay a little below market, but if you're working in revenue-generating sections, they can meet and even eclipse market. They did for me. There are a lot of interesting projects to work on pertaining to AI, IoT, Cloud, etc. You can definitely learn a lot if you join the right team. There's decent flexibility. This probably depends on the team, but it's fairly easy to work from home in general.

Cons: In my division, which is a very profitable division (they probably did this in others too), they significantly lowered the hiring bar. It’s gotten to the extent that people without backgrounds in coding and/or no experience working as software engineers professionally are working on projects with very high visibility. These engineers have completely ruined the quality of the project, and it becomes hard for any new person to work on it. Management, however, completely ignores this, and these are employees with tech backgrounds. It’s either these managers with tech backgrounds don’t care about the quality of their products, or don’t know anything about delivering high-quality software, or both. Any three of those combos is enough to fire them.
