Process

I applied online and waited for a few weeks. I then received an email asking me to complete an online code test (HackerRank).

The online code test was not very difficult but requires some knowledge of basic algorithms and data structures. It would be helpful if you practiced some questions before starting the test.

After the online test, I received an email asking if I was from certain countries forbidden to work for IBM. I replied and waited for two months.

I then sent an email to inquire about the status. I did not hear back, so I followed up. They then stated that they still had an opening and asked if I was still interested. I confirmed my interest, and they arranged a virtual technical interview.

I had prepared specifically for technical questions, but it turned out the interview focused more on my resume and random questions. I performed poorly and was rejected immediately after the interview.
