Pros: Some of my friends had unpleasant, isolating experiences doing internships at IBM, but my experience was not like that at all.
My manager and team were very accommodating and friendly during every interaction, and there was plenty of opportunity for doing pair-programming, which made the work less boring.
Cons: The nature of the work I was doing was not very sophisticated, interesting, or unique. I did not feel like I was learning much.
