Pros: - People working in IBM are nicer than average.
- Challenging work environment with a lot of space for your ideas.
- With time, if you are keen to stay in the company (and lucky enough), you can easily change your day job.
Cons: Salary, maybe? I don't have much comparison to do. I found IBM quite okay for everything.
The only problem I see is that if you join as a graduate, there is a high probability you don't get to do the job you want (i.e., support instead of development), which is a bit annoying for a fresh starter.

Pros: Real opportunity to grow within the company.
Good benefits, especially if you get into a project.
Cons: The whole process to get into a project is a bit confusing and troublesome, but once you get there, you'll be okay.
