Mobile Architect Interview Experience - Plano, Texas

Process

Initially, we went back and forth because I didn't have a degree from a "pedigree" school.

One of the hiring managers flat out did not want to talk to me.

I guess I wasn't good enough.

After finally getting a phone interview, the interviewer asked me about my education. I told him I wasn't able to complete college due to financial reasons. You could hear the disappointment.

It was also very weird that I told him I had been working with IBM Watson, and he asked if it was all smoke and mirrors.

Anyway, it was probably a blessing they don't think I fit into their "pedigree" culture.

And then you just never hear back from anyone.

Questions
