Process

Post shortlisting, there was one telephonic round, mostly focused on Core Java and the Java language package. Following the telephonic round, I was invited for an in-person interview at the Gurgaon location. I was informed it would be an offer round only, but I was subjected to another interview round, mainly covering Java Reflections and JSP Tag Libraries. After that, there was a final round with the Account Manager. She committed that regardless of the outcome, she would call me to inform me by 10 AM the next morning. She did call me with positive feedback and congratulated me, informing me that I was through.

This was back in December 2004. The interview took place in 2004.

Questions

  1. What is the Java Reflection API and how does it work? Please tell me the classes and methods used.

  2. How would you implement a scenario where people usually say two threads are working on an object Obj?
