Interviewed at IBM GBS, Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore.

Very bad experience. Unethical people; they don't care about our time. The panel lacks basic interview etiquette. They insulted the candidate and disrespected their time.

• I arrived at the office at the scheduled time, 11 AM.

  HR (contact person):

  • Arrived 15 minutes late, picked me up at reception, and asked me to wait. They went back to their work and returned after 1.5 hours. I was left waiting with no information on when my interview would start.
  • Then, they introduced me to the technical team who were supposed to conduct the interview.

  Technical panel:

  • Took me inside, again asked me to sit at a desk and wait, as the technical panel were not at their desks (claiming a client meeting).
  • It was already 1 PM, and no one seemed concerned if the candidate had lunch. I could not leave as I didn't have door access.
  • I literally waited until 2:20 PM.
  • The interview then started with a panel of 2 people.

  Technical interview:

  • An unethical interview process.
  • They pointed at jargon in my resume and asked for its full form.
  • They laughed and showed disdain at my answers to their questions (even for correct answers).
  • They were untrained and lacked interview etiquette.
  • There was no respect for the candidate or their time.
  • The interview was scheduled for 11 AM but actually started after 3.5 hours of waiting.

Bottom line: I will not give IBM a second chance.
