I reached out to the manager and secured an interview. The interviewer remarked that it was their first time interviewing. I had informed the manager that I only knew C, not C++, but they seemed okay with that. However, the interviewer proceeded to ask C++ questions anyway, despite me clearly stating my lack of knowledge in the language. They have a standard interview question cheatsheet, which allows anyone new to simply read from it and conclude the interview.
