Pros: Work from home facility Laptop instead of desktop Various new technology projects

Cons: No salary hike. Vast hierarchy. Less growth.

Pros: Flexible, challenging, engaging. They seem to care about interns.

Cons: I do not really have any cons.

Pros: This company is a giant with tons of different job opportunities available throughout your entire career with them should you want to try something new. The company is very forward-thinking and is always willing to work with you to give whatever accommodations are necessary for you to perform your job well. The general attitude in the office is accepting, friendly, and collaborative. If you are the type to always be interested in the next big thing, IBM strongly values innovation, so keeping up with new technologies and being able to recognize how they may benefit your product is a great habit to have.

Cons: Being such a large company with so many employees, there is a lot of red tape and processes for everything. Office politics play a very big role in how your career grows or doesn't. In most positions, you will have an active customer base and may need to work odd or extra hours as customer issues come up, which can be stressful. Higher-level managers who make promotion and pay rate decisions may be disconnected enough from the actual team member to only make decisions based on what they hear from others.
