Software Developer Interview Experience - Toronto, Canada

Process

The manager asked me questions and explained the position. The questions were:

  • Difference between processes and threads
  • What is a thread
  • Heaps vs. stack
  • What is dynamic programming
  • What is a binary tree

The manager assured me that the position was a developer, despite my reservations. The compensation offered was a significant drop from my last position, for which I also had an offer. Therefore, it did not make sense to proceed with this opportunity, despite it being at IBM.
