Pros: Smart and hardworking people with a good work-life balance.
Good for 1 or 2 years of experience only.
Cons: Everything else: low income, no bonus, no stocks, no benefits, no perks, no free stuff, not enough support and respect, low work environment, low team building, etc.

Pros: Large company with many ways to grow. Excellent diversity and inclusion.
Cons: Cancels projects and fires teams without notice.
Will spend millions making an app only to delete it soon after completion.
Actually made up of hundreds of disparate companies who do not share resources.
If you get laid off from one area, there is no retention policy despite how good people are at their jobs.

Pros: IBM has impressed me with its commitment to diversity. The company has so many interesting projects in development and combines viewpoints from international employees as well as those within the US. The resources available on site are quite sufficient for research and personal development, and the location of the site is ideal for anyone interested in live music, making for a good work/life balance opportunity.
Cons: Apparently there are some divisions that do work longer hours, but I have not experienced this personally. I find that those who work longer weeks are a bit too committed to their work. I have found that the managers are quite flexible when it comes to their employees' schedules.
