I was eventually contacted by phone and told I was on a short list with very few people ahead of me. If those individuals declined the job, then I would be made an offer.

Pros: Many opportunities exist to move up in the company.
Also, there are many positions to move laterally within the company.
Working abroad is also available.
The work environment is extremely professional, making for a productive and exciting place to work.
The company is big, with over 300,000 employees all over the world.
It is possible to communicate with each employee easily and efficiently.
Cons: The only downside I can see is that because the company is so big, it is easy to get lost in the crowd. Other than that, I can find no other downside to working for this company.
