Pros: Great opportunities for growth!
Great technologies!
Embraces open source and personal initiative. Favors team work and collaboration. And we have a darn good CEO!
I love it.
Cons: Some of the managers that I have encountered seem inept; they might be, or they are overworked. Avoid the services organizations. Some of the technical leaders are just jerks, or seem that way if you are not above a certain pay grade.

Lots of vacation.
Good 401(k).
Cons: Not working with newer technologies.
All of your group has to be in the same IBM location.
Lots of big corporation red tape.
