You will get a call from a consultant. It's good to go by consultant, since sometimes they can turn things around for you.

Employee referrals are okay as well, but IBM is like a sea; it's hard to find the correct people even from inside.

There will be two rounds: one technical, then PDM. PDM will be Managerial + HR.

If you clear the technical round, there will be a PDM round. A person with people management responsibilities will conduct this interview. It will be a managerial and HR round. They may ask technical questions if they have the knowledge. Salary discussions will also occur during this round. There will be no separate HR round.

If you clear this round, the recruiter will follow up with you for further documents, etc.

Be careful: Background verification will be very strict. They randomly select individuals for background checks, even after five years of joining.
