You need to focus a lot on building relationships. Without proper relationships, it will be very difficult to get the work done.
Internal systems can be complicated. It is difficult to move within the group.
To the top management, I would like to say that IBM is many organizations within a single entity.
Often there is a lack of coherence within different units, even if they need to work for the same product.
