Good starting point, look elsewhere for a thriving career
Stress level is low.
Job is what you make it to be.
Management is totally detached. Most times, they are ignorant to technical issues and will follow the loudest voice in the room, even if it is totally wrong.
There is no standard or commonality in how promotions are given. Someone putting in good quality engineering work for 10 years might be surpassed by someone on the 'fast track' with only 2 to 3 years of experience.
Understand the ins and outs of what the company does before trying to strategically plot the future vision.
