In my experience with IBM, overall, it is a good company. It provides adequate opportunities for professional development and promotes a culture of respect, inclusivity, and collaboration in the work environment for employees and different teams.
To help the work environment be more collaborative, it streamlines many internal processes to make them more efficient and effective.
There are effective communication channels between management and employees via instant messaging and online systems. Management can provide feedback to employees on their performance for their self-improvement and growth in their roles.
Also, the company recognizes and rewards employees for their achievements and contributions through mechanisms like currency exchange for gifts and services in loyalty programs.
One thing I would like to suggest IBM improves is offering more flexible work arrangements or other benefits to help employees achieve a better work-life balance.
Good. The questions were mostly related to AWS and Java. The questions were mostly on the design side, so if you have good hands-on experience, you can crack the interview easily.
It was quite simple and fast. It started with an HR/Recruiter Discussion, followed by a Technical/Functional Discussion around the experience, and then concluded with a Hiring Manager Discussion. The offer letter was also released pretty fast.
Coding assessment on HackerRank (60 minutes), followed by a 30-minute recorded video interview with mainly behavioral questions. Though I was ghosted afterwards and haven't heard back since. Smooth process overall.
