The company allows you to experience various technologies, as within it, there are diverse projects for varied clients, even enabling area migration.
Personally, I don't know many cases of professionals being laid off. When a project ends or when a client terminates the contract, there is an effort to allocate employees to other projects/clients.
The company encourages (practically demands) that employees obtain certifications and study to specialize further.
Great benefits.
Your experience will be completely dictated by the client you are allocated to and the people manager assigned to you. Promotions within the company are virtually non-existent. The overwhelming majority of my colleagues who managed to get a promotion needed to threaten to leave the company, as IBM imposes several obstacles in the form of certifications and accumulation of positive feedback to prevent the employee from getting a promotion. And if you eventually get a good promotion, it's unlikely any project will want to keep you, as there is formalized pressure for projects to be able to work with the cheapest possible employees.
I found it quite thorough. First, I had two online tests (logic and English). Then, I participated in a group dynamics activity, presenting our idea on the subject to the managers. Finally, there were three interviews.
An interview process that I would say is normal, without major challenges. It has more to do with the recounting of your experiences and your demeanor in front of the interviewers. Describe your education and experience, and highlight the points th
I applied through the IBM careers page and received an email to complete a coding assessment within seven days. I was rejected in the next round of the coding assessment. Your resume should be strong enough to get selected for the interview process.
