The name goes a long way. IBM's clients are very impressive.
Having a distributed workforce makes it very hard to get things done, unless you enjoy sitting on conference calls or chatting on SameTime all day long.
I think IBM's push for working at home makes getting things done very difficult. It's nice, but doesn't lead to a very productive workplace when working with the clients IBM services.
The interview process started with a phone interview. Then, I was called in for two 1:1 interviews. The first was a technical interview, and the second was a behavioral interview. Two days later, I received a call with the job offer.
I applied online, got an e-mail for a technical phone interview, which was for around 45 minutes. Then I was called in for an interview on-site, which was a one-on-one technical and resume review, which was hardly for 15 minutes.
Two interviews were conducted: one technical and one behavioral. These interviews were held back to back, and the offer letter was sent within two weeks.
