You get to work for one of the greatest companies in the US.
Mostly based on the location I worked at: Rocket Center, WV. Very low salaries. They don't really consider what you are looking for, career goals, or interests (though they claim they do) and stick you on any old project assignment.
Project assignment staff are not technical and really don't understand what they're doing. How can you work at a technology company and have absolutely no technical knowledge or background, especially in a role where you are assigning resources to contracts?
They tend to place people in training just for the sake of keeping people busy. If you're available, you're put in it, no matter if it's related to your job or has anything to do with the area of work you're in.
Overall culture is nothing like a typical IBM location. People here don't collaborate, socialize, and are overall miserable. High turnover rate.
You need to have people with at least some technical background in higher management or project assignment roles. Bad decision-making is hurting your employees' careers and creating a poor work culture at Rocket Center.
The interview process was difficult in nature. You have to answer the questions in technical terms, so be sure you know the basics of programming, like code. The application process, however, is very easy. They will get back to you within one week t
The interview was moderate. It asked some basic programming questions regarding my academic and personal projects. It also asked about SQL queries, one coding question on the spot, and basic DSA.
After applying, you would be invited to do an online assessment. I finished the online assessment and passed all the test cases. However, I received a rejection email a few days later.
