Pros

Benefits are good: HMO, Internet allowance, and mobile allowance (based on project).

Salary is fair, around what you would expect for a "good" starting salary.

Environment (this is based on the people in my team):

  • Supports WFH
  • Certifications and badges are free (Udemy and IBM learning).

They implemented a Java Bootcamp for us for the hiring process. We did not finish it, but we learned a lot.

Cons

Upon passing the Java Bootcamp, they hold our employment until August/September, even though other companies are already onboarding during the pandemic.

Even though our bootcamp is for Java, most of us, including myself, did not get a Java position or at least something programming-related.

We are forced to work during weekends, prior to the client's request.

No immediate OT pay.

If you're looking for a stable career path, think twice before entering here; there might be a possibility that you won't get what you want from the start or not at all.

Advice to Management

If you're going to hire for a Java position and put candidates through a Java bootcamp, then make sure they get a Java position or at least something programming-related.
