Pathetic Hike
A lot has been happening inside the company in terms of technology, such as shifting to multi-cloud, analytics, and DevOps. However, opportunities are not open to all employees. If you are not from the same unit, changing teams or units for new opportunities is almost rare. No one entertains the request. They will ask you to get trained, but when you ask for a switch in a project/team, no one will help you.
At GBS India, there are mainly Resource Managers. Many people are poor in technical understanding, and it creates unnecessary problems with Geo Management. India employees are never defended and end up being stretched for overwork for which they were never at fault.
A lot of things work over personal contact rather than individual ability.
Please pay the right money to the right people. Please give a proper hike.
Please make the process easy where employees want to change teams/units after they have learned new skill sets.
