Access to latest technology, challenging environment
Nothing bad to say about my career at IBM.
My position was relocated "off-shore". Due to my family situation, I could not consider relocating from the US (DFW) Metro area.
With 15 years at IBM, I qualified for "early retirement".
Left IBM as a top performer (Rated #1) for my role in IBM Research as an Executive PM / Senior Engineer / Manager.
The interviewer was helpful, and the interview was a mixture of general coding questions and behavioral ones. I applied through an online job search and received an interview call the following week. Hope this helps.
The interview was easy and good, and the interviewer was very good. The level was also average. There were two rounds of interviews. First, they asked questions related to my project, and then two coding questions were asked.
Chill interview. Got through campus placement. Asked a few questions on projects. Having worked on different databases is a plus. Having worked on different large-scale data processing libraries is a plus (Hadoop, Apache Spark, etc.).
