Most of the managers I have worked with gave me freedom to explore and a chance to work on new challenges.
Since there is so much dependency only on the managers. Not many other paths to communicate. So much internal politics will be there.
Please make sure that IBM employees at low bands are encouraged and appreciated well for their contributions.
