Distraction Factory: Destroying Productivity
Well compensated. Current technologies are used.
I am constantly distracted from my primary development tasks. I am constantly engaged in operational support questions, and there are no plans to staff a support or operations organization.
Specialization is how our society excels. Inhibiting that specialization by being some perversion of "full stack" or "everything-ops" has destroyed so much of my work, and I dread my next day.
