Stop doing whatever all the corporations are doing: promoting incompetents into decision-making roles, and creating discomfort for those who can actually deliver.
Stop rewording people that talk a lot; they are usually the ones that don't do anything.
For the thought leaders: stop living in a dreamy world when you work the greatest and saves lives. That never happened. Your work is usually giving work to someone else who's capable enough to write code, build solutions, write technical documents, etc.
