Pros

No pros as such. IBM GBS is not a great place to work for.

Cons

They hire a lot of employees to show their bench strength and get projects.

But they might not get projects, leading to a long bench period.

Meanwhile, during the bench period, your people manager might ask you to resign, promising financial benefits. However, at the end, you will end up getting 90 days' base pay.

The role of a workforce manager is not needed. You have to find open positions on your own.

Contributions to Lighthouse are not considered productive. It's better not to contribute to Lighthouse and pay attention to getting projects.

There is less pay and poor policies compared to banks and Big 4 firms.

Mediclaim premium has to be paid by the employee.

Advice to Management

Hire resources when you have projects.

They are already working in a good position in a firm. Why attract talent to make their future insecure?

People managers, HR, and WFM are of no help.

Don't spoil the future of the employees.
