I enjoy learning.
IBM offers (and helps you track) your perpetual technical self-development. There are literally hundreds of online courses and a broad range of educational opportunities. As I look back on 2020, I see I have completed some excellent certification courses in Python, AI, Quantum computing, Blockchain, Agile, and OpenStack, just to name a few.
I start my day with 10 minutes on the NordicTrack and 60 minutes of online self-development content. The hours are tracked automatically, so I see measurable progress.
Interestingly, many of my co-workers engage in a similar daily schedule.
If this is your kind of thing, you will enjoy it here.
You have to stay current with new technologies.
Continue to acknowledge and reward Hyper Learners.
Very swift, efficient, and effective. A quick call from HR to organize the interview was very pleasant. The interview itself was reasonably challenging but enjoyable. There were two interviewers, and they aimed to get the best out of me. No BS.
The interview is face-to-face and consists of two rounds: a technical round and an HR round. Results are given at that time, after the technical round. The HR round is easy and only asks simple questions.
I received an email from IBM. The first round was a telephonic screening interview. It was very easy. They asked me about my resume, projects, SQL, Linux, and Java. The questions were very basic.
